[SMART MOVE. Pulls the shields behind himself while Yamamoto gets out of the way]

[slides his foot back, back in stance]

Good. [As he says that, those two shields are both hurtling forwards on track to sandwich Yamamoto between them]
[takes off as hard as he can to the side, bolting with his sword down, his swallow shooting ahead of him]
[the shields crash into each other with a loud clatter, and Gokudera follows Yamamoto with the aim of his skull, waiting for a clearer shot since fast-moving targets are a bitch >(]
[decides to go all or nothing, and pulls his sword up to slash a wall of water ten feet high in a path from his current position to Gokudera's, running behind it, his reflection barely visible]
[Oh fuck your water >( Hesitates for a half-moment, then fires cloud flames at the wall, guessing at something that looks like Yamamoto's reflection]
[the water BLASTS right behind him, and he's nearly chucked into the air, his feet pedaling hard to keep him upright. Once he's STEADY AGAIN he bursts through the water right at him, sword raised]
[stumbles back in surprise, raising the arm with the skull in a shielding posture while he reaches back for one of his bomb stashes]
[brings his sword down on that arm hard]

[man it's a good thing that's the skull arm or that'd hurt way more than it does 8( even so, grunts and hisses sharply through his teeth, stepping back and tossing a mini-bomb up between them]
[erk, has to push off Gokudera for any leverage backwards but he was going forward pretty fast so he crosses his arms over his face and takes the hit]
[being so close means he's taking some damage from that too, but as soon as the explosion starts to clear up he's drawing aim on Yamamoto again]
[shakes his head sharply to clear the ringing and pulls into position again - doesn't waste time and pushes forward again]
[still on cloud flames, trying to get a shot out before Yamamoto closes that gap. This is really hard as close as they already are.]
[I'M THIS CLOSE. Grips his sword and swings his arm as hard as he can, switching hands for a 5th form - it's not for the fakeout he's using it, but so he spins and gets the reach he needs to get under Gokudera's arms this time, and also deflect those shots that are about to hit him point blank away from his vitals at least]
[WHAM. Goes FLYING BACK from the force of that blow]
[SAME HERE, bouncing once before skidding and rolling owwww]
[Man I hate when this happens. |( Still for a few seconds before groaning, pushing himself up on one elbow slowly]
[r...rolls over so he can work on that too]
