[erk, has to push off Gokudera for any leverage backwards but he was going forward pretty fast so he crosses his arms over his face and takes the hit]

Grips his sword and swings his arm as hard as he can, switching hands for a 5th form - it's not for the fakeout he's using it, but so he spins and gets the reach he needs to get under Gokudera's arms this time, and also deflect those shots that are about to hit him point blank away from his vitals at least]
